FAQ
Where are your items produced?
Great question! The Essential and Momentum coats are usually produced in Muntinlupa, Philippines by a small group of sewists that are paid a living wage. I know each sewist by name and they are an independent and self-governing business. I (Generosa) personally sew the coats they don't. I produce the majority of all runway garments.
The Zoya coats are produced in Italy with fabrics, linings, and buttons sourced in Italy.
The Barong Hoodies are embroidered by Dona in one part of the Philippines then sent by Lalamove to Muntinlupa where our sewists make them into hoodies. They are produced in batches of 12 per color combination.
The knitwear is produced by a company called Printful. I have earnestly tried to find a company based in the US to produce my knitwear but haven't had much success.
The hair ties, bucket hats, and silk scarves were all produced by companies, I have personally interacted with and have relationships with, in China. All current inventory of these items were produced prior to 2025.
Where are your fabrics sourced?
Standard wool and cashmere outer fabric are sourced from a company in South Korea. They obtain the fabric and ship it directly to my sewists in the Philippines.
I source designer deadstock and mill end fabrics from a variety of US companies- both local to Portland or small businesses that I order from online.
The lining material is all custom printed for us by Spoonflower and either shipped to me for use here or shipped to the Philippines.
